Change System Messages

In LearningCart, a central resource file controls all system text that is shown to customers. By editing this file, you can customize all system messages shown to customers. Many of our clients use this feature to customize messages to match their brand standards or to localize their entire site.

To make changes to your resource file, click ‘Configuration’ in the top right-hand corner of screen. On Configuration screen scroll down to the Resource File section and click ‘Go’. The Resource File page will then load listing all the text contained in the resource file. To edit a value, click ‘Edit’ next to it then click ‘Update’ to save your changes.

If you would like to add more information to the payment method page at the time of customer checkout, LearningCart provides a simple way to do this. Search for and modify the CartPaymentIntro field to add the information to the page.

Because editing your resource file requires updating core parts of LearningCart, all customers will be logged out when your changes are saved. To minimize customer impact, we suggest making changes to your resource file outside of core business hours.
